You would think that somebody would have noticed after all these decades that these wars can achieve nothing. Somewhere under the gutlessness, the stupidity, and the naivete supporting this hideous situation are the facts about Gaza.
Let’s start with the gutlessness and the stupidity. What sort of insect-brain thinks you can kill 1400 Israelis and there will be no response? What sort of moron “believes” this will lead to a Palestinian state?
“Belief” has a lot to do with it. According to someone’s remarkably convenient “beliefs”, it’s OK to kill people based on their religion, ancestry, or simply for being wherever they happen to be. The killers are the victims, right? Then you can squeak away complaining about the inevitable response.
The history is distorted beyond “belief”:
Between 1933 and 1945, more Jews were killed than the entire current Palestinian population in the region. They were killed for purely political purposes like most people are these days.
For some reason, these people wanted a safe place to live after that wholesome experience. They were denied it. The British didn’t want an Israel or anything like it on their territory. Nor did anyone else. “Palestine” was an occupied territory then, too, with the great-grandparents of the same people living in it.
The territory was defined by post-World War One cartography carving up the old Ottoman Empire for the West. What was called Palestine was not defined by ethnic or any other human considerations. It was more like post-colonial Africa. Draw a line and never mind who lives where.
It became Israel despite the West. After many futile wars in the 20th century, a barely workable compromise drew up the current boundaries. At no point has the physical existence of a Palestinian state ever been seriously possible, thanks to the wars and outsiders running Palestinian affairs.
The Palestinians, meanwhile, are the perfect case of a profitable cause for other people. They have no money, no real political clout, and are dependent on outsiders for everything.
Yet the Palestinians for some reason still trust those outsiders. These are the same people who “helped” them into their current status as a hybrid zoo for impoverished people and a black-market handout zone is all they have to show for it.
They get paid peanuts if they can get work. They live on the “generosity” of the people who keep them stateless. They pay more for groceries and basics than anyone else in the Middle East.
They have nothing vaguely like a viable economic base to build a Palestinian state. Any wars between their “friends” and the Israelis get fought in their living rooms. Gaza has been flattened often enough to make that point.
Here’s a clue for someone – This is what four generations of total failure to achieve anything at all for the Palestinians looks like. Do you have a catchy bigoted slogan for that? How about “Stop being nice to the rich parasites that made eternal beggars out of the Palestinians”?
How gullible can you be? Why are you supporting catastrophic failure now and in the future?
Maybe this is clear enough:
You’re supporting a lot of very rich people in the Middle East. You are supporting everyone but the Palestinians.
You’re supporting Iran, the Saudis, and the black market. You’re supporting Western and other propagandists.
You’re supporting arms dealers, terrorists, mercenaries, and other criminal elements.
You’re making the case against a Palestinian state.
The Israelis will never forgive or forget this. You know that. Can you be honest enough to admit it? I don’t think you can.
