Pop artist Becky G released the song “The Fire Inside,” which was written by Diane Warren.
This original song was released via Kemosabe Records and RCA Records. It appears in the biographical comedy drama “Flamin’ Hot,” which was released via Searchlight Pictures.
“The Fire Inside” was written by Honorary Oscar winner and 14-time Academy Award nominee Diane Warren. It was subsequently produced by ISH with lead vocals from Becky G.
Brazilian pianist and composer Marcelo Zarvos released a full soundtrack for the film’s original score back in June of 2023.
“Flamin’ Hot” was directed by Eva Longoria, and it stars such actors as Jesse Garcia, Annie Gonzalez, Emilio Rivera, Dennis Haysbert, Tony Shalhoub, and Matt Walsh. The movie premiered on June 9 on the streaming platforms Hulu and Disney+.
The song is mid-tempo, catchy and fun, where the listener can slightly recall Bebe Rexha meets Nelly Furtado, and that should be taken as a compliment. This is one of those songs that people might find themselves “singing in the shower,” no pun intended.
Kudos to Diane Warren for once again writing another tune that is a keeper, especially since the lyrics just stick and resonate with you.
